Jointly with the Government Buildings Agency, the Ministry of Finance has designated the renovation of the Ministry of Finance buildings in The Hague as the second pilot project (following the Montaigne college) for future contracts for publicly-owned buildings. The Ministry of Finance has taken the initiative to contract out the renovation and the funding as an integrated whole to a private consortium, to be followed by maintenance of the building and provision of facility services for a period of 25 years.
Safire B.V., a consortium involving Strukton, Burgers Ergon, GTI, ISS Facility Services and an investment fund of The Royal Bank of Scotland and Dutch Infrastructure fund is responsible for the realisation of this project. The re-construction and renovation of the Ministry of Finance has started early in 2007.
On the 12th of march 2009, the renovated premises has been inaugurated.
Safire has reliable partners, standing out from the crowd for the transparency of their approach, the high quality technical content and creative and innovative thinking.
