On 7 July 2005 Strukton Integrale Projecten received the new NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2000 certificate for her quality management system. The certificate was issued by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) after a successful evaluation of the quality management system on 27 June 2005.

Since the establishment of Strukton Integrale Projecten in 1999 a lot of work has been done to describe and establish the business processes which are involved in acquiring PPP concession projects in a transparent and compact quality management system which is based on the ISO 9001:2002 standard. Struktons’ quality management system was first certified by LRQA on 14 August 2002.

Periodic testing and questioning of internal processes creates the openness that is needed for continuous improvement. Feedback on results towards our clients, as well as internal project evaluations are important. Each employee is expected to perform his activities in line with the procedures set out in the quality system. For the purpose of managing the quality portfolio, a quality coordinator has been appointed. His role is to supervise the realization of both internal and external audits and the implementation of corrective measures and suggestions for improvement which are identified during audits and regular activities. Aside from internal audits, the use of the management system is also tested annually by the LRQA. The emphasize is placed on a different discipline each time, in order to achieve sufficient depth with the audit. This approach enables Strukton Integrale Projecten to continuously invest in and improve upon the quality of her activities.
