Integral medical care concepts
Strukton would like to make the managements of hospitals and medical care establishments better acquainted with PPP-forms. We look further than only a building, which is optimally designed and furnished for good medical care - what do the users want? who are they? what do they need? and how and on what basis can we best meet this need? We see a promising future for integral medical care concepts in cure and care, such as:

  • efficient design and smart construction for better facilities and
  • combination of functions (living, medical care, shopping) to increase the quality of life.

Strukton Integrale Projecten is working on a thorough analysis of the medical care market. We are developing concepts on our own initiative, which can provide the highest possible extra value to the end user on the basis of public-private or private-private co-operation.

Pilot project as the first step
As in education, a first PPP pilot project in the Dutch medical care is possibly the best step forward. This means the lessons learned from PPP projects in other sectors can be fully utilised. Use can also be made of already developed standard contract and tender procedures. A first pilot project in medical care therefore does not have to involve high transaction costs (costs for advisers and legal experts due to the complexity of the contract).

Strukton Integrale Projecten can help potential clients in medical care, by using our knowledge and expertise in the building and maintenance of hospitals and sharing our experience of PPP tenders. In this way we wish to arrive at innovative and, for the client, flexible and financially attractive solutions. In this way hospitals and other medical care establishments - in the future as well – can guarantee good medical care.
